Deep Ocean Engineering has supplied more than 150 ROVs to the scientific and education communities for use on all 7 continents. Deep Ocean ROVs are increasingly being relied upon to monitor reef degradation and marine life depletion, and to perform highly specialized undersea research. Deep Ocean is constantly working with world-leading agencies such as NOAA, NASA, National Undersea Research Center, California Department of Fish and Game, and more than 30 universities to develop solutions to problems presented by scientists and educators.
Deep Ocean ROVs are designed to be adaptable to changing requirements, light-weight enough to be transportable, and easy to operate and maintain. The introduction of digital telemetry enables Deep Ocean to offer sophisticated instrumentation such as cameras, sonar, probes, and manipulators that can easily be installed on the ROV. Deep Ocean’s Vector Series ROVs will enable the scientific and education communities to go deeper with greater payload and versatility in challenging situations such as turbid conditions or exploring the underside of polar icecaps. |
