Deep Ocean Engineering has recently introduced a new family of ROVs incorporating the advantages of modern technology with DOE’s reputation for building vehicles that are highly reliable and are backed by high standards of customer and product support. The Vector Series includes the L4, M5, and H6 ROVs that share a common platform but are each designed to meet specialized mission requirements. The first customer of the Vector L4 system is the US Navy who will deploy the ROVs to inspect the hulls of large vessels such as the USS Ronald Reagan. The key features of the Vector Series are: improved overall performance; demonstrated ease of use; integrated ROV design that easily incorporates a variety of sensors and tools.
